We\u2019re always looking for ways to collaborate with other members in the industry through guest posts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019d like to contribute to the Path blog, read below for our guest post guidelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What we\u2019re looking for<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We&nbsp;aim to educate and empower readers with well-researched, data-driven, thorough, and actionable content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Who we write for:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Ecommerce brands:<\/strong> They may be wholesalers, have their own website, sell on Amazon and other third-party marketplaces, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Product photographers:<\/strong> Freelancers, in-house photographers, people who work at a studio\/agency, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>We have a very firm commitment to high-quality content.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>We have a very firm commitment to high-quality content. Anything that doesn\u2019t meet our quality standards will not be accepted. We owe it to our audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As such, articles are typically 1,200 words or more \u2014 though we let the subject dictate content length. This includes both outsourcing and in-house photo-editing. All tutorials should have a focus on product photography edits and manipulations. We expect video graphics and\/or screenshots that match our existing tutorials. <a href=\"https:\/\/pathedits.com\/blogs\/tips\/tagged\/photoshop\">Find our published Photoshop tutorials here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How-tos and actionable advice:<\/strong> Includes real-world examples, hard data, implementable takeaways, original quotes, and thorough explanations of each step in the process. Readers need to be able to walk away and implement at least one idea immediately. If you have a really amazing idea that would resonate with our audience but it doesn\u2019t <em>exactly<\/em> fit, send it over anyway. We make exceptions in special cases \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Here\u2019s what not to do<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As we said, we&#8217;re very strict about the quality of the content we publish on our blog. Because of this, there are many things we cannot accept:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Plagiarized, copied, or stolen content<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Content that has been or will be published elsewhere<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Topics we\u2019ve already written about<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Link-building schemes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promo-heavy content<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to submit your guest post<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have a post you\u2019d like to submit or a topic idea you want to run by us, send an email to <strong><a href=\"mailto:editor@pathedits.com\">editor@pathedits.com<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;with \u201cguest post\u201d in the subject line. Share a Google Drive folder with the following:<\/p>\n\n\n<p><!-- wp:list,\"ordered\":true --><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Google Doc with written content (don\u2019t forget to throw in a headline or two)<\/li>\n<li>Hero image and any supporting imagery with attribution (hero images should be 850 x 371 pixels and any supporting images should have a width of 796 pixels)<\/li>\n<li>Author name and bio (include your website URL)<\/li>\n<li>Headshot<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><!-- \/wp:post-content --><br \/><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>If you only have an idea, include it in the body of your email and we\u2019ll get back to you if it\u2019s of interest.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><br \/><!-- wp:heading {\"level\":2} --><\/p>\n<h2>Managing expectations<\/h2>\n<p><!-- \/wp:heading --><br \/><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Our editorial team reserves the right to make any edits, changes, and additions to the guest post as deemed necessary. This includes but is not limited to additional CTAs to Path services, removal of overly self-promotional content and links, and imagery and graphic design. We may also update the post in the future to maintain relevance and accuracy.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><br \/><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>We share all accepted and published guest posts on social media.
